Its origin dates back to the thirties, when the entrepreneur José Lou Royo, father and grandfather of the current owners, opened a small olive business in Zaragoza. Later it created a warehouse for processing black olives.

After the renewal promoted in the eighties in the manufacturing process and with a permanent technological innovation, Hijos de José Lou was consolidated in the packaging, sale and distribution of olives and pickles.

Today, from its facilities in the Malpica industrial estate, in Zaragoza, José Lou’s products undergo a careful process of preparation and preservation for the enjoyment of lovers of the Mediterranean diet.

Although the olives of Aragonese origin continue to be the heart of the company, at present, other varieties of olives and a wide range of pickles complete the assortment of José Lou products, which is opening up to new markets with the creation of tasty proposals in the form of olive pâté and olive jam.

Currently, the José Lou brand crosses borders exporting to countries such as France, England, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Canada, the USA, China and Japan.
